Hello!
My name is Sydney Leung and I am currently apprentice teaching geometry at NYOS Charter School while being a student at the University of Texas at Austin. I plan to graduate in the fall of 2023 with a Bachelors of Science and Arts in Mathematics and a teaching certificate for grades 8-12 from the UTeach program. My goal is to pursue teaching secondary math at a Central Texas or North Texas high school.

Making Music
I can play the flute, piccolo, and trumpet while I am still learning to play piano. I am currently marching trumpet in the Longhorn Band at UT Austin!
Cooking & Baking
Cooking and baking are some of my favorite hobbies. I always make soup, pasta, cupcakes or brownies. I especially love getting to share with everyone!
Cuddling Cats
I'm definitely a cat person even though I'm starting to warm up to dogs. A cat café would be amazing. Cats are just so soft and adorable with their little paws!
